Interview with Charlie
JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Charlie: green short sleeve shirt and pants. It was kept
freezing cold in their and if you didn't want to
be cold you'd have to buy thermals and other
clothes, that place is so money hungry! They would
take my socks in "Shake downs" and I would have to
buy more!
JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Charlie: greens and you can only bring in white under wear
so if you didn't have whites you had to go without
or buy them too!
JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Charlie: anything that will keep you warm
JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Charlie: no

You cannot bring in anythig you have to buy white underwear from the commissary and again this is a racket and someone is getting rich...who is getting the kick backs?
